Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

Position Summary
A Well-Established Wholesale and Distribution Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Supervisor to oversee and manage inventory operations within its warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all goods entering and leaving the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient stock control procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse.
• Monitor all incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and assist with inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams regarding stock availability and movement.
• Ensure products are stored safely and organized according to company standards.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide updates to management.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment when necessary.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff on inventory procedures and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, warehouse supervision, or a similar role. Additional training in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.
• Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
