Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, Royal St. Kitts Hotel offers guests a welcoming home away from home, with studios and suites designed for comfort and convenience. We are looking for a dependable, service-minded Public Area Attendant / Houseman who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe and inviting spaces and supporting the Housekeeping team in delivering a positive guest experience.

The Role

Royal St. Kitts Hotel is looking for a reliable, hardworking and service-oriented Public Area Attendant / Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team.

What You’ll Do:

· Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, corridors and outdoor spaces.

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.

· Replenish guest supplies as needed.

· Respond courteously to guest requests.

· Support Room Attendants and the wider Housekeeping team.

· Report maintenance issues, safety concerns and other areas requiring attention.

· Follow all hotel health, safety and cleaning procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

· Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is an asset.

· Reliable, responsible and hardworking.

· Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative.

· Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Physical & Working Requirements

· The role involves standing and walking for much of the shift.

· Frequent bending, kneeling, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required.

· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to use stairs and ramps and, where required, ascend or descend ladders safely.

· Work may take place indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

· The role involves working with cleaning chemicals and may involve working around pets.

Employment Details

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and public holidays, as operationally required
