Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, Royal St. Kitts Hotel offers guests a welcoming home away from home, with studios and suites designed for comfort and convenience. We are looking for a dependable, skilled and service-focused Cook to join our Food & Beverage team and contribute to consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and kitchen hygiene.

The Role

Royal St. Kitts Hotel is looking for a reliable, skilled and service-focused Cook to join our Food & Beverage team.

What You’ll Do:

· Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.

· Ensure food is properly presented, portioned and served.

· Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and sanitation.

· Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and organised.

· Minimise food waste through proper preparation and storage.

· Work closely with the culinary team to support smooth service.

· Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

· Previous experience as a Cook is an asset.

· Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

· Team-oriented, reliable and dependable.

· Culinary training or certification is an asset.

Physical & Working Requirements

· The role involves prolonged standing and walking during the shift.

· Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling may be required.

· Ability to lift and carry food products, supplies and kitchen equipment as required.

· Ability to work in a hot, humid and fast-paced kitchen environment.

· Ability to work around heat, steam, sharp equipment and kitchen machinery while following required safety procedures.

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Must be available to work weekends and public holidays, as operationally required
