About Royal St. Kitts Hotel

Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, Royal St. Kitts Hotel offers guests a comfortable and well-maintained environment. We are looking for a skilled and versatile Finished Carpenter / Tiler to join our Maintenance team and contribute to the upkeep, repair and presentation of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.

The Role

Royal St. Kitts Hotel is looking for a skilled and versatile Finished Carpenter / Tiler to join our Maintenance team.

What You’ll Do:

· Complete finish carpentry, repairs and installations.

· Install and repair doors, frames, trim, cabinets, shelving and other woodwork.

· Measure, cut, fit and install materials accurately.

· Prepare surfaces and install ceramic, porcelain and other tiles.

· Complete tile repairs, replacements and grouting.

· Maintain quality, alignment and professional finishes.

· Keep tools and work areas clean and organised.

· Complete assigned work orders and report additional maintenance concerns.

· Follow all health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

· 5+ years experience in carpentry and tiling experience.

· Strong practical skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to measure, cut, fit and install materials accurately.

· Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

· Good problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious.

· Technical/vocational training is an asset.

Physical & Working Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch and work in various positions for extended periods.

· Ability to lift, carry and move materials, tools and equipment.

· Ability to work at heights using ladders or other approved equipment.

· Ability to work indoors and outdoors.

· Ability to work around dust, adhesives, grout, sealants and other construction materials while using appropriate protective equipment.

· Must be available to work weekends and public holidays when operationally required.

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Must be comfortable working flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as operationally required.
