Located in the heart of Frigate Bay, Royal St. Kitts Hotel offers guests a welcoming home away from home, with studios and suites designed for comfort and convenience. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Painter to join our Maintenance team and help maintain the appearance, condition and overall presentation of the property.

Royal St. Kitts Hotel is looking for a skilled and dependable Painter to join our Maintenance team.

What You’ll Do:

· Complete interior and exterior painting and finishing work.

· Prepare surfaces through sanding, patching, filling and priming.

· Apply paint, stains, varnishes and other finishes.

· Complete touch-ups and repairs while maintaining quality standards.

· Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean and organised.

· Identify and report maintenance concerns.

· Follow all health, safety and chemical-handling procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

· 5+ years previous painting experience; hotel or commercial experience is an asset.

· Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious.

· Technical/vocational training is an asset.

Physical & Working Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stretch and work in various positions for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and carry paint, equipment and materials.

· Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding or other approved equipment.

· Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

· Ability to work around paint, solvents, dust, fumes and other chemicals while using appropriate protective equipment.

· Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays when operationally required.

Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Must be comfortable working flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as operationally required.
