Article: old road youth accuses police sergeant of brutality

Comment: First of all I am surprised that bottles were given to patrons at the event; plastic cups are usually given to the patrons because when anger and alcohol converge, emotions sometimes boil over, and people who were already steaming over an issue with another person sometimes feel that at large gatherings is the opportune time to vent their bellicose behavior. If what transpired at the police station is true, it does not speak well for community- police relationship.

Article: condor vs. maynard vs. welsh

Comment: Young lion with fresh ideas, and innovation on the plain. While the Dr. of Deception is refusing to give up his reign. He will rather stay and let labor sink, refusing to accept that he is the bad chain link.

Article: val kempadoo has high hopes for agricultural sector, sustainable living

Comment: It is not Party Against Douglas, it is Party Against Deception. It is hard to know which of the 10 Douglases is speaking, especially since he has admitted that he has multiple personalities. This guy is a Liar Supplier. No wonder he said that he was not closing the sugar factory, instead he just converted it to Liar Manufacture.

Article: val kempadoo has high hopes for agricultural sector, sustainable living

Comment: Remember it was Dr. Douglas who said that the national debt was too high when he was in opposition and the national debt was about 250 million dollars at that time, but when he got into office he ran it up to over 3 billion. Dr. Douglas also claimed that the Federation had escaped the brunt of the global economic downturn of 2008-2009, when that was not true, but people ate it up like they do free food at a political rally. Dr. Douglas is full of a lot Tricks and gives very little Treats.

Article: crown counsel finally charged for careless driving

Comment: The family members who are trying to rationalize wrong should ask themselves if they would have wanted a lesser charge if it was the other way around. It is amazing how some want to take wrong and make right. Well, let us see how Judge Judy’s brother the Honorable Errol Thomas is going to handle it. I hope he is the one that is going to preside over the case.

Article: grant says people want change regardless of labour tricks

Comment: Mr. Grant I agree with most of what you are saying. The Federation definitely needs a correction of its 18 year malfunction, because the choices are make a change, or let most of the people continue living on small change. However, I think that you have soiled your integrity, and should refrain from running. The debacle at the Marriott amounted to your political suicide.

Article: pm douglas promises to address guyanese concerns

Comment: Dr. Douglas please refrain from using the word promises. You will be better off just using the word misses. You missed bringing the Motion of No Confidence to Parliament; you missed a promise in 2004 not to close down the sugar factory; you missed in 1999 a promise to pay people for their damaged appliances; you missed implementing integrity in public life; you also missed bringing down the national as promised. Missed-ter Douglas.

Article: pm douglas promises to address guyanese concerns

Comment: Some people are so consumed by Red that they appear to be oblivious to the fact that the nation is in more red that prior to 1995, even though the then opposition leader Dr. Douglas who is now the current leader of the Federation said that the nation’s debt was too high. It is now 1.5 billion. When he said it was too high it was about 250 million.

Article: phillip urges voters not to be fearful of unity candidate's threat

Comment: Let not worry, and submit to dictatorship Halloween fright; we want better for out Federation, so let us unite. The road is long and winding, but we will finally walk down Freedom Street. The lead must bend, and the political apartheid story in the Federation will end.

Article: land, houses and parks for central basseterre...says marcella liburd

Comment: Good paying jobs that enable citizens to live and not just exist are paramount. High electricity bills, and VAT are detrimental to one’s financial healthy. Minimum and barley above minimum wages cannot sustain families, especially if one aspires to elevate himself or herself socioeconomically. A chief component of the Global economic downturn in 2008-2009 was the housing sector. People had houses, but not the salary to pay for them.
