St. Kitts & Nevis Red Cross Society announces new Governing Board Leadership

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS – The St. Kitts & Nevis Red Cross Society (SKNRCS) is pleased to officially announce the election and appointment of its Governing Board following the General Assembly held on Sunday, October 19, 2025. 

     

    The newly constituted board will lead the National Society for a two-year term, overseeing the organization’s mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering across the federation. Leading the Society is President Dr. Kerdis Clarke, supported by a diverse team of dedicated professionals and volunteers from both St. Kitts and Nevis. 

     

    The Governing Board members for the 2025–2027 term are

     

    • President: Dr. Kerdis Clarke 
    • Vice President (St. Kitts): Mrs. Vercelette Molyneaux 
    • Vice President (Nevis): Mrs. Georgette Hanley 
    • Treasurer: Mrs. Vernesia Walters 
    • Youth Director: Mr. Za Meire GiVace 
    • Floor Members (St. Kitts): Mrs. Corlis Hyligar & Ms. Kerine Warner 
    • Floor Members (Nevis): Ms. Pearl Bartlette & Ms. Philicia Walters 

     

    The Board also includes Branch Directors elected during their respective 2025 Branch Assemblies

     

    Mrs. Shantell Pemberton-Chumney (St. Kitts) and Mr. Chris Clarke (Nevis), alongside appointed specialists Mrs. Shyra Manners (Legal Advisor) and Mr. Timothy Martin (Disaster Coordinator). 

     

    "We are entering a season of renewed commitment to our communities," said Dr. Clarke. "This board represents a blend of experienced leadership and fresh perspectives, all united by the fundamental principles of the Red Cross." 

     

    The St. Kitts & Nevis Red Cross Society extends its gratitude to its partners and the public for their continued support as the new leadership begins its tenure.
