Comment: I've got one question: why wasn't this done earlier in the year? It seems odd to me that we had to wait until 22 murders and god only knows how many shootings and other crimes had been committed before this policy has been implemented. Were the powers that be waiting so that we would now see them as our 'saviours'? They are paid to keep us safe, and they FAILED MISERABLY,so they are no 'saviour'. This just shows the level of incompetence that exists in the ranks, and it goes right to the TOP.I am pleased that at last they are doing something to combat the surging crime rate in the federation, but I'm afraid this is too little and certainly too late. Maybe this was done now to try and fool the electorate into thinking that they care, but the Federation is not populated by fools. Come these elections let us, the electorate, show them just how clever we are and THROW THEM OUT OF OFFICE. Another reason for doing this now could be to take our attention away from their nasty antics over the contempt case. They are prepared to do anything to get their way. They broke the law and they are saying to the whole country, the courts can't touch them. We, the electorate, on the other hand CAN and WILL do something [LEGAL] about it. KICK the lot of them OUT. Before you guys out there start to criticise what I have said here, please think. We have had to wait until now the elections are due to see any effort from them to try and curtail the rising crime rate. Our safety means nothing to them. Douglas and his fellow incumbents need to be shown just what POOR servants they have been to the people of the Federation. |
