Comment: This should be an interesting trial. We have the top criminal lawyer representing the woman, which means she just might get away. It will be interesting to what Dr. Brown presents as the defense. Maybe we might hear someone broke into the house and kill the girl or that the woman is crazy and was off her medication and thus not fit to stand trial, or it was the her son that killed the girl and she was scared of him hence the reason why she jook him with the knife and locked up the house to protect both of them. This shall be interesting to watch....

Comment: I agree with Cindelle who in the article said, "No" I am comfortable using tradition as a guide but what were th circumstances at that period in our history? The big bands have now taken over the road and that is the reality the culture of Carnival has changed. Therefore, since the bands are using this oppertunity to showcase their accomplishments the Road March should be a battle betwen the bands. Notwithstanding the alleged 'fixing' of the event by the current winner.

Comment: Remember to remind Dwyer that when he say we cathing him, Douglas does not stand alone, that means he is going to catch, thousands ok. Douggie is not alone, just so that he (dwyer) and others know that. Comment: I strongly agree that any artist or band should be allowed to compete for the roadmarch title. I don't think any artist or band should have any influence on what songs are being played by the dj's. For example I saw band members and artist making appearances of different dj trucks trying to ensure that their songs were played at specific judging points that they themselves already passed. I deemed this as an unfair practice. If you are promoting your some do so with a band or get a specific dj to play for you and leave the other dj's to decide for themselves which is the sweetest or most popular song. I think also for the judging to be fair and transparent each troupe or band should be allowed to pass each judging point the same amount of times. Putting a time cap on the judging is really unfair especially for the bands and troupes with the huge crowds who are unable to move as fast as the bands and troupes with the smaller crowds. Putting a limit on jouvert celebrations is real ridiculus and its getting to be less and less time and this is the highlight of the carnival celebrations. The schedule for that day should just be jouvert and nothing else let the people jam in the streets all day as long as there is no unnecessary violence in the bands. Take away the perpetrators and let the celebrations continue.

Comment: what people need to understand is dat wen ellie matt used to compete for road march is becuz he had his own band so dat was ok. konris does not have a band. jumping from trailer to trailer is totally wrong. I do not back small axe no time at all but they deserved road march. the rum song said it all for mas dis time around. Small axe to the world dis time around

Comment: Roadmarch does not belong to any one in particular,the road march should be the most popular song of the carnival season,but the problem is who will play that song on carnival day,so the bands play there songs and even if an artist have the most popular song he/she does not have a chance. unstoppable force was not the years most popular song but got road march.so it all boil down to the indevigual who has to do what they have to do to succeed.congrats to konris
