Comment: Everything has its pros and cons. With the escalating crime rate in St. Kitts, it is not a good idea to have the youth idle and without supervision for a longer period of time. The youth are the future of our Federation. It is not plausible to say that after 2:30pm or after breaktime the children are tired. They are school children and fully understand that to obtain a sound education is their obligation."Tiredness" cannot be substantiated as a reason why hours should be shortened. Teachers have the duty to make lessons engaging so that the students do not feel the effects of tiredness. Changing school hours is not a good idea, as the devil finds work for idle hands. The only way that I can see these proposed hours working is if the government implements MANDOTORY after-school programmes that will aid in building a more well-rounded youth population. The young people are becoming more and more lazy and therefore MANDOTORY after-school programmes such as athletics, performing arts, public speaking etc will aid in preparing our nation's youth for brighter future. They will be more marketable when it comes to applying to universities and entering the workplace.

Comment:  big up to the vibes, i am glad to see some those young men have the power to do something good with what they are doing , i know most of those guys and am proud of the them keep it up... if them others will do something for themself it will be better but they aint like work and all deh want is the latest in everything and aint want sweat for it ,.. sknvibes proud of u guys .

Comment: Before I made the decision to move to St. Kitts and Nevis, sknvibes was my daily bread, I was able to keep abreast of the happenings in what was to become my adopted country.Even though I have been living in the federation for over a year now,I still read sknvibes everyday, as it is also the primary source for getting information I need for the field in which I work, and when I go back home and people ask me about St. Kitts and Nevis' culture etc., my only answer "go to sknvibes.com, everything is there". WELL DONE! I'm sure I'll still be reading it even after I leave the Federation as you are constantly expanding and improving your services.
