Comment: Agreed, Sandy Point's economy is slowly dying. TDC's decision may just be a glimpse of the reality that other businesses in the area have to contend with. The electricity supply is unreliable; the lone main road is often congested during functions, funerals and accidents which hurt businesses when vehicles are rerouted; there is a lack of security due to an immobile police force and the many unmaintained properties owned by land speculators and people who prefer to live elsewhere (and refuse to sell or lease the property to the locals that want to start businesses in the area). Might I also mention that most SP business owners feel that the community only remembers they exist when something needs sponsoring. This must be real frustrating, I wonder how many was willing to sponsor the Black San' Events. Anyway, lets all enjoy the rest of the celebrations and come together to save our Sandy Point!

Comment: To that person who calls themself THE LISTENER, sometimes I wonder if people like you could read, n if yes, if you have any understanding of reading. Now if someone gets kill and I have money and wish to offer a reward to catch the killer, what is the big deal. The police has nothing to do with a civilian wants to give a reward. Comment: I'am a realist and I have to agree with others who feel that because this guy was the commissioners son more attention will be focused on solving his murder...having said that i have no issues whatsoever with the reward because ultimately our hope is that this person/persons will be caught and a murderer will be taken off the street...and what if by some share luck this same person/persons is responsible for other crimes/murders then the reward would have served its purpose either way...my wish is that we would all become our brothers keeper without having to be compensated for it...I think there are so many of you who have information about these murders/crimes and for some reason or another you feel the best thing to do is push what information you have under the rug and hopes it goes away,and in the same instant you're accusing the police of not doing their job...forgetting that we have a civic duty to uphold and defend the law as well...The police cant do this by themselves they're not super hero's,this isn't a comic book this is real life...so i really do hope this reward helps to bring these person/persons to justice and ultimately create a domino effect so that we could get these criminals off the street so that we can once again feel safe in this country we love so much....
