Comment: Am I to understand Mr. Skerrit, (and remember we the people elect LEADERS to SERVE) that we must keep a blind eye too corruptions, disregard political malfunctions and be subservient to leaders. To quote you, ‘Labour Party supporters must stand tall and defend your party in their leadership at all times…’ This kind of talk is why the whole Caribbean is facing polarizing leaders that bring polarizing ways of life. The party is not what we elect; we elect a person to run the party. LEADERS = SERVANTS, please know that, Mr. Skerrit, it is not leaders stealing peoples freedom. If we see trouble, we must be able to question it. We must not stand behind leaders tangled in corruptions and lies, such leaders have to go. Do not ask me to stand and defend all the times; because if in that moment that leader is not progressing the country upward and onward, we must not stand. We must question, we must seek truth, we must be real with what we are facing, and we must get rid of leaders who have forgotten that the job came from the People, to SERVE the People. |
