Comment: I am so tired of you guys (both Labour and PAM) making every thing politics. I am a policy holder or should I say was (not too certain) but on numerous occasion have had reason to withdraw from my savings. From my knowledge all funds are forwarded to British American Head quarters in Trinidad, so when I make a claim I have to wait until those in Trinidad forward the money back here. Number one blame falls on headquarters.
Is Mr. Liburd suggesting that Mr. Hamilton is responsible for the collapse of British American throughout the region? If he is then, I would infer that Mr. Hamilton’s office is the Headquarters of British American --- definitely not so
Mr. Hamilton is the branch manager, I stand corrected -- I am not aware that branch managers are responsible for company much less COUNTRY policies/laws (I think they enforce them). If British American failed in St.Kitts then and only then could you blame Mr. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was doing like any other Manager do for their companies – seek to increase profit.
Second in line for blame: the government, they are given the mandate to make laws to protect their people. So yes the head of government is responsible for not protecting their people via proper laws and regulation.
